My Little Pirate

As most of you know, Ava has been seeing a pediatric opthamologist since she was 13 months old for a "lazy eye" Her right eye has weak muscle control and wants to go outward instead of focus straight ahead. Her doctor says that her vision is perfect but wanted to try to patch her good eye for 2 hours a day to make her weak eye work a little better. So needless to say, we had to find a really neat patch for her to wear! We found this one on Ebay and she got to pick out the pattern herself. She chose one with pink ballet slippers since she's really into "dancing" right now. She doesn't always like wearing it but we're working on it!
